Carolina Peace Walk

Focusing on a day dedicated to healing, awareness, and connection, many people came together in southeast Raleigh for the Carolina Peace Walk yesterday. Organized by Scottie Barnes, the founder of Katch The Kite nonprofit, he emphasized that the walk is all about unity and striving to improve the community. Additionally, it serves to honor those who have been lost to gun violence and opioids.
