OP-ED Submissions
Op-Ed pieces do not represent the magazine's views; instead, they provide a platform for individuals to express their own opinions.
What we're looking for?
-A piece with a clear and defined argument. A well-articulated perspective. A strong, distinctive voice from the writer. Above all, maintain respectfulness. We invite submissions on matters in the Raleigh/Durham and surrounding cities on community news, politics, finance, history, education, social justice, health perspectives, and equal rights.
Here are some key points to keep in mind:
Submit your work in a Google Doc format and remember to include the title of your piece. 12 pt font size, double-spaced. 400-500 words
Be sure to include your add your first and last name. If not, just include your first Initial and your last name.
We will get back to you within 48 hours if we are interested in publishing your submission.
What we will not accept!
-Ghostwritten or AI-generated content.
-Submissions with poor grammar or style, rants, or extreme language.
-Previously published pieces, in whole or in part.
